Top Tier Consulting, a premier healthcare management consulting firm providing world class consulting for major healthcare organizations, was honored by the Los Angeles Business Journal and Best Companies Group, as one of the top 100 “Best Places to Work in Los Angeles.” This marks the second year in a row that Top Tier has made the list.
The awards program, designed to identify, recognize, and honor Los Angeles’ best employers, selects the top 100 companies to work for, based on employer and employee feedback, and how each company benefits the county’s economy, workforce, and businesses.
“It is a great honor for us to be recognized as one of Los Angeles’ best employers two years in a row,” said Brad Armstrong, Senior Partner at T2C. “Being recognized in this way underscores our strong commitment to both our partners and associates, as well as to our clients, and our ongoing goal of creating superior opportunities for success.” T2C’s collaborative environment is driven by a mentoring approach, in which all new staff members are involved in hands-on client work under the mentorship of senior members, allowing them to become subject matter experts and take part in bringing innovative solutions for clients.
T2C staff enjoy the collaborative environment of T2C, as well as the “little extras” provided that include special events such as a Fantasy Football league and March Madness pool, staff get-togethers at some of Los Angeles’ best restaurants, and a variety of events and games at the Staples center. T2C also hosts annual winter firm events at destinations such as the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara, Disney’s Grand Californian, and the Renaissance Esmeralda Indian Wells Resort & Spa.
Since its launch 11 years ago, Top Tier has grown steadily due to its strong client focus, as well as the collaborative environment and the strength of the deep industry experience of its staff members, partners and associates.
“We’re proud of the environment we’ve created that has enabled us to receive this honor two years in a row,” said Greg Anderson, Senior Partner. “Our success is driven by the hard work, insight and thought leadership of our people, who consistently deliver bottom-line benefits to our clients, and who also are widely recognized among their peers, in the industry, and in the media.”
Top Tier’s associates have frequently offered thought leadership and insight in the form of feature articles appearing under their bylines, including Barry Riegelhaupt’s May 12, 2016 article in Health Data Management, “5 Steps to Avoid Failure with Technology Implementations,” and Mark Benedict’s April 29, 2016 feature in RevCycle Intelligence, “Why Claims Accuracy Testing, QA Isn’t Working for Healthcare.” T2C’s knowledgeable associates have also been quoted in health care IT features in publications including TechTarget, HealthcareDIVE, and HealthIT Analytics.
Most recently, T2C’s involvement with the rebirth of Martin Luther King Community Hospital, an inner city hospital in south Los Angeles, was highlighted in a TechTarget feature quoting T2C’s Brad Armstrong on how this facility was re-launched with the latest health IT technology, including smartbeds and teleneurology services.
Companies from across the county entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Los Angeles, analyzed the data and determined the final rankings.
The prestigious list, along with information about how each winner ranked, will be unveiled at a special awards ceremony on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. The rankings will also be published in a special supplement produced by the Los Angeles Business Journal on August 22, 2016.
